Heat-Resistant PE Bags for a Silken Tofu Producer

2026-09-21
A silken tofu producer was struggling with bags that became brittle after pasteurization, causing leaks during transport and complaints from retail customers. They needed a packaging material that could handle their thermal process without sacrificing flexibility or seal strength.

We tested several PE film structures against their processing conditions and selected a heat-resistant formulation that maintained flexibility after pasteurization. The tube bag was calibrated to their filling volume to reduce residual air and improve shape consistency. After line trials, the new packaging eliminated leaks, reduced product damage, and gave the tofu a cleaner appearance on the shelf.

The producer now uses the bags across their full range of portion sizes with custom printing for product information.
