Ready to eat tofu programs need film that survives full retort cooking and still opens like fresh. This high temperature resistant tube pouch is formed from food grade PE for 55g and 115g Japanese silken tofu portions that go straight from the retort to the pantry shelf.

Food grade PE supplies the flexibility, puncture resistance and sealing strength that keep delicate silken curd whole through sterilization, storage and handling.

The single layer film is rated for 100°C hot filling, while lamination raises resistance to 200°C, so packs can be fully retort sterilized and stored at ambient temperature without preservatives.

The special shaped composite tube keeps its profile in retort baskets, and the transparent body lets consumers see the silken tofu before opening. Diameter, length and thickness are customizable to your portion program.

Custom gravure printing up to 10 colors covers brand, nutrition and cooking notes. All film is food grade and certified to FDA and EU 10/2011 for export Japanese tofu packaging programs.
